Cookie Policy
This site is intentionally light on tracking. Consent-based Analytics cookies are set only after you accept the cookie banner; no advertising cookies, no remarketing, and nothing loads until you consent.
Analytics we use
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It loads only after you choose Accept on the cookie banner, and IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, and we do not share analytics data with advertisers.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. See Google's documentation for cookie lifetimes and details.
With your consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site through aggregated metrics, heatmaps, and session replays. It is provided by Microsoft and data is processed under Microsoft's privacy terms. Session replays mask text you type. Like Google Analytics, Clarity only loads after you accept the cookie banner.
Microsoft Clarity sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk to distinguish visitors and sessions across visits.
Local storage
We store a small value in your browser to remember your choices. There are two possible entries:
- Cookie-banner choice: a value that records whether you have accepted or declined the cookie banner, so we do not show it to you again on every visit.
cf_consentflag: your analytics consent state (granted or denied). Analytics loads only when this is granted.
These values live only in your browser. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
What we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No cross-site ad tracking
- No fingerprinting
- No analytics before you consent
Managing your choices
You can decline analytics directly via the cookie banner; no analytics cookies are set and nothing loads. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data for this site through your browser settings (this removes the consent flag and any analytics cookies); the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block Google Analytics globally with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
